Hypothecation Act (Chapter 46:05)
An Act to provide for the securing of loans, advances and debts by hypothec granted over movable property.
This Act concerns the hypothecation of movable property including agricultural produce and livestock. A creditor authorized by Regulations may establish for the securing of a loan a hypothec on agricultural or natural produce. Livestock under hypothec may be marked.
