Locusts Act (Chapter 35:03)
An Act to make provision for the destruction of locusts.
"Locust" is defined in section 3 as "any gregarious species of grasshopper which has the habit of forming migratory swarms". The provisions of this Act shall be in operation in such areas or districts of Botswana as the President, from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, may prescribe, for such periods as may be specified in any such notice (sect. 2).
