Tefo joined the Bookbinder Business Law firm in April 2018 and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of Botswana in November 2013. His practice areas are dispute resolution, employment, insolvency, and restructuring.

Tefo has acted for clients across a broad range of sectors including construction and engineering, banking, and mining. He has experience advising clients in complex disputes in the areas of labour and employment law, retrenchment, employment benefits, intellectual property, construction arbitration and insolvency. He regularly advises clients on complex recoveries and corporate restructurings. In addition, Tefo has experience in general corporate, regulatory and insurance advisory work.

Tefo graduated with an LLB from the University of Botswana in October 2013. He was subsequently admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public. Tefo is a member of both the Law Society of Botswana and Botswana Institute of Arbitrators in good standing.

Obakeng Lebotse is a Partner at Bookbinder Business Law in the Corporate Department , and Co-Head of the Conveyancing Department. He has a broad corporate (including M&A) and commercial practice and advises on all aspects of local and cross-border transactions.

Obakeng’s practice areas span a number of specialisations, with a particular emphasis on general corporate and commercial advisory, conveyancing and real estate, competition, banking and finance, debt capital markets, regulatory and compliance (including data protection), employment and labour, as well as intellectual property. Obakeng works for a global client base across a wide range of sectors, notably in financial services, tourism and hospitality, retail, and energy.

On the conveyancing and real estate side, Obakeng deals primarily with residential and commercial property, and associated financing transactions. He has experience in all types of Botswana property transactions, including real estate structures, real estate financing, acquisitions and disposals, leasing matters, as well as construction and development agreements.

Olebile Daphney Muzila was admitted as an attorney of the Courts of Botswana in 2015 and joined Bookbinder Business Law firm in 2016. She is part of the Dispute Resolution Department and has experience in commercial litigation, particularly in insolvency, restructuring, corporate recoveries, employment disputes, mining, banking, construction, retail, and procurement law.

She also provides strategic and risk management advice, as well as legal auditing. She has acted for various financial institutions, government, and multinational companies. Olebile also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board.

She holds a Master of Laws and an LLB from the University of Botswana. She also holds post-graduate certificates in Enterprise Risk Management and in Finance for non-financial managers from the Botswana Accountancy College. In the next 10 years, Daphney wants to grow her practice niche in the firm in corporate governance, insolvency, and tax law to meet the dynamic issues in the commercial practice.
